Our Story: who we are, where we came from, where we're headed

At 20 years old, having grown bored with my law studies, I jumped on an opportunity with my future partner to set up a clay bead workshop: "Le grain de sable."

The concept: selling beads for do-it-yourself necklaces that we eventually packaged in testubes, using beads and shells that we imported in bulk from around the world.
We went on to open up a combination shop-restaurant in Rennes, "Les dînettes du Grain de Sable," another novel idea at the time.

Our last team venture was founding L'Aromarine, a Parisian perfumery manufacturer followed by its New York counterpart, L'Aromarine Inc., still present on the US market today.

At 40, I reoriented my career path and returned to the shop, which was already a well-established costume jewelery business of more than 15 years. I started to sell hats and then went on to make them; the shop doubling as a workshop too!
At the same time, I'm always on the lookout for the most up-to-date but affordable accessories at trade shows or wholesalers, both in France and abroad.
